The City of Yorkton makes the following Public Notices:

• Bylaw No. 31/2010 – Amend Municipal Development Plan Bylaw No. 15/2003 – Section 6.4 West Broadway Commercial Corridor
• Bylaw No. 32/2010 – Amend Zoning Bylaw No. 14/2003 – Mixed Use District

Proposed Bylaw No. 31/2010

The Council of the City of Yorkton pursuant to Section 207 of The Planning and Development Act, 2007 hereby gives notice of its intention to pass Bylaw No. 31/2010, which is an amendment to City of Yorkton Municipal Development Plan Bylaw No. 15/2003. Bylaw No. 31/2010 seeks to amend Sections 6.4 and 6.4.1 being the West Broadway Commercial Corridor to update the policies in this section of the Municipal Development Plan.

The proposed Municipal Development Plan Bylaw amendment may be inspected in the office of the Planning and Engineering Department, City Hall by any person without payment of any fees between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., all holidays excepted and up until 12:00 noon Friday, August 20, 2010.

Any person may make oral or written representation to City Council at its meeting to be held on Monday, August 23, 2010 in the City Hall Council Chambers, Yorkton, Saskatchewan at 5:00 p.m. All submissions must be submitted in writing by 12:00 noon Thursday, August 19, 2010 to Bonnie Schenher, City Clerk. Oral or written submissions will be considered when the Public Hearing, in respect to this application, is in session.

Proposed Bylaw No. 32/2010

The Council of the City of Yorkton pursuant to Section 207 of The Planning and Development Act, 2007 hereby gives notice of its intention to pass Bylaw No. 32/2010, which is an amendment to City of Yorkton Zoning Bylaw No. 14/2003 to rezone the following properties from CZ – Contract Zoning District to MXURB – Mixed Use Residential – Business District:

The proposed Zoning Bylaw amendment may be inspected in the office of the Planning and Engineering Department, City Hall by any person without payment of any fees between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., all holidays excepted and up until 12:00 noon Friday, August 20, 2010.
