Candidate Profiles

Eugene Fedorowich

As a lifelong resident of Yorkton, I am passionate about its future and our children’s future.

I am a third generation citizen of Yorkton and my hope for the future would be to provide safe progressive schools for our children. My children, my wife and I, have all attended our Catholic schools here in Yorkton.

I am married to Muriel and we have two grown sons Josh and Drew.

Leadership is built on trust. We earn trust by being knowledgeable, competent, open, honest, accountable and professional. Nothing can speak louder in the displayed confidence, that we know what we are doing and where we are going, to those we serve in our community.

I understand the demands of leadership being involved with various organizations. The following are brief highlights of my recent service to the Yorkton Community.

I had the privilege of serving as a trustee in the Yorkton Catholic School Division for five years, and now with the newly amalgamated, Christ the Teacher School Division for five years.

I am a member of St. Mary’s Parish and the Knights of Columbus.

I am also a member of the Yorkton Municipal Planning Commission.

To lead we must have a strong voice and a deep commitment. We need proven leadership and a common sense approach.

Through sound fiscal management and by stimulating progress we can ensure that the future for Christ the Teacher School division remains bright.

I have learned to listen and I am not afraid to voice my opinion and to make tough decisions. Solutions for complex issues will take considerable time and energy, to which I am fully prepared to commit.

I would be honored to have your support and vote, to serve you as a School Board Trustee on Oct 28

Thank you
